The packages include the boat trip from Ulefoss to Kviteseid and return with bus to Ulefoss. There is a change of bus in Seljord.

Travel Route:

- Kl. 10.20 attendance at Ulefoss locks.
- Kl. 10.35 departure with MS Victoria from Ulefoss lock.
- Kl. 16.20 arrival at Kviteseid pier.
- Kl. 18.15 departure with bus from Kviteseid center with Vy local bus, line 102. (50 meter from the pier)
- Kl. 18.35 arrival at Seljord bus station.
- Kl. 18.50 departure with bus from Seljord bus station with Telemarksekspressen, line NW 182.
- Kl. 19.50 arrival at Ulefoss locks.

PS! On Saturdays a taxi will depart from Kviteseid center at 16.30 bound for Seljord. Waiting time is approx. 2,5 hours as you must wait for the canal bus from Dalen.
The bus will depart from Seljord bus station kl. 19.50, line NW 182.
Arrival Ulefoss locks kl. 21.00.

Practical information on board:

Parking:
Your car can be parked at the parking lot 200 meters from Ulefoss lock. There is no need for parking permit. While driving from Ulefoss center, the parking lot is reached about 200 meters before the lock. It is marked with a parking sign (a large “P”) and the symbol for the Telemark Canal (a boat in a lock)

Meals on board:
There is a restaurant on board. It is possible to prebook lunch with your tickets. You can also order food directly at the boat from their menu without prebooking. It is not possible to book a table for the entire journey.

Bus return:
There is a change of bus in Seljord. The buses are corresponding and will wait for each other.
PS! On Saturdays a taxi will depart from Kviteseid center at 16.30 bound for Seljord. Waiting time is approx. 2,5 hours as you must wait for the canal bus from Dalen.

Kviteseid:
Kviteseid Pier Café is located at the Kviteseid pier. Here you can enjoy good food and beverage while you wait for the bus. It is most likely open between mid-June until mid-August.

Adults from 16 years: From NOK 1098,- to NOK 1133,- per adult.
Children 4-15 years: NOK 396,- per child.
Children 0-3 years: Free of charge
The rate for this package can vary when it comes to your choice of date. Please select date of choice to see the package rate.
